    The Ministry of Interior announced today, Saturday, the move to “automate housing cards,” while about 84% of Iraqis have been registered with the unified card.

    Interior Minister Abdul Amir al-Shammari said, in statements at a press conference followed by Alsumaria News, that we have registered more than 36 million citizens with the national card, announcing “the start of the second phase of the national card project by activating it in Iraqi embassies.”



    He pointed out that "the second phase will witness the automation of housing information in coordination with the Election Commission."
