    Today, Thursday, Minister of Health Saleh Al-Hasnawi announced the signing of a contract with a Qatari company to manage, operate and maintain the Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital, while the Qatari Ambassador to Iraq Sultan bin Mubarak Al-Kubaisi confirmed that this company is one of the most important large companies that manages the most important hospitals in Doha.
    Al-Hasnawi said in a press conference: “Today, an agreement was signed to manage, operate, and maintain the Nasiriyah Teaching Hospital between the Ministry of Health, represented by the Dhi Qar Health Department, and the Qatari Elegance Company, affiliated with the Qatari Investment Group,” indicating that “this contract is part of a series of contracts signed by the Ministry of Health with major companies.” To manage large hospitals with a capacity of 492 beds.
    He added, "This measure is part of the government program of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia al-Sudani," pointing out that "the management of five hospitals has been completed, and the sixth is on the way."
    He stated, "These contracts will positively impact the work of hospitals through companies managing them in accordance with modern international scientific standards, with the participation of our doctors and health and administrative staff."
    For his part, the Qatari Ambassador to Iraq, Sultan bin Mubarak Al-Kubaisi, offered congratulations “on the occasion of signing the contract,” pointing out that “the State of Qatar is moving to join the Republic of Iraq in all fields, the most important of which is the Ministry of Health.”
    He stated, "This company is one of the most important large Qatari companies that manages the most important hospitals in Doha."
