    Alsumaria News - Economy

The Iraqi government has finally agreed to release and unload the fuel that Lebanon was waiting for "at the deadly moment" a few days before the country entered total darkness. Lebanon was about to run out of fuel and the electricity would go out across the country by the end of this week, while Beirut cannot ask Iraq to unload more fuel as Baghdad is refusing to do so due to Lebanon's delay in paying the money for two full years of fuel imports.

He describes that “the Lebanese habit of this type of begging is amazing. The Presidency of the House of Representatives does not want this contract to become legitimate and legal without clear or announced reasons, and now what is required is to intensify the path of begging and support it with contacts from here and there so that imaginary heroism appears for this political figure or that one,” according to his description.
