    A security source in Anbar province revealed on Saturday that an investigative committee from the Ministry of Interior arrived at the Anbar Police Command to investigate the appointment of a security force of 100 members to provide protection for the dismissed Speaker of Parliament, Mohammed al-Halbousi.

    The source told Al-Maalouma Agency that "the ministry wondered about this force and the reasons for exploiting its military equipment and vehicles belonging to the Anbar Police Command to protect Halbousi and his family."
    He explained that "the committee has audited the records of the leadership staff, noting that "the investigation procedures are still ongoing, the party responsible for this matter."
    He stressed that "the committee will take legal action against the officers involved in this case and refer them to the judiciary." End/12A
