{Baghdad: Al Furat News} A Turkish institution identified the nationalities that bought the most real estate, with Iraqis ranking fifth among the nationalities that bought the most Turkish real estate during the first half of 2024.
[rtl]According to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute, Russians came in first place with the purchase of 2,423 properties, while Iranians came in second place with the purchase of 1,070 properties, while Ukrainians came in third place with the purchase of 725 properties, Germans came in fourth place with the purchase of 501 properties, and Iraqis came in fifth place with the purchase of 494 properties .[/rtl]
[rtl]The data indicated that the Kazakhs came in sixth place with the purchase of 472 properties, while the Azerbaijanis came in seventh place with the purchase of 339 properties, the Americans came in eighth place with the purchase of 254 properties, the Saudis came in ninth place with the purchase of 252 properties, and the Afghans came in tenth and last place with the purchase of 237 properties .[/rtl]
[rtl]Foreign purchases of Turkish real estate fell by 46% in the first half of this year to reach 10,500 properties, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute .[/rtl]
[rtl]The biggest decline was on the part of Russian citizens, whose purchases decreased by 62% in the first six months of the year, on an annual basis, to reach about 2,423 purchases, followed by a 60% decrease in Iranian purchases to 1,070 transactions, while Iraqi purchases decreased by 50% to 494 purchases .[/rtl]
