Minister of Electricity Ziad Ali Fadhil announced today, Friday, the installation of 70 transformers to provide continuous power for the visitors' service processions, while following up on the ongoing maintenance work on the visitors' roads in Najaf Governorate in preparation for the Arbaeen visit.
A statement by the ministry - received by (Mawazine News) - stated that "Minister of Electricity Ziad Ali Fadhil supervised the field installation of 70 new transformers and high-quality wires; to ensure the provision of stable power supplies for the visitors' service processions."
The statement added that "the minister was briefed on the efforts of the teams working to install modern lighting systems along the visitors' paths."
He praised the "remarkable progress in the work since his last visit," directing "intensifying efforts to make the visit season a success."
