Wasit Governor Mohammed Jamil Al-Mayahy confirmed today, Thursday, that about 500 reports were submitted to the Integrity Commission and the Public Prosecution regarding the corruption of many figures in the province.
Al-Mayahy said in a televised interview, which was followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "hospitals lack cleanliness and there are no possibilities to contract with companies for cleaning and sterilization," stressing that "according to urban planning, Wasit should have 28 hospitals."
He added, "We submitted about 500 reports to the Integrity Commission and the Public Prosecution about the corruption of many figures in Wasit," indicating that "the integrity procedures reduced the amount of customs exemptions and there are those who seek to prevent the automation of customs."
He added, "Zurbatiya port is ready to receive 3 million visitors during the Arbaeen pilgrimage, and the owners of the processions and citizens are responsible for 90% of serving the visitors."
