    Economy News - Baghdad

[rtl]Member of Parliament, Haider Al-Salami, considered today, Sunday, that the two most important features of implementing the e-governance system in Iraq are reducing the amount of corruption and the speed of completing transactions.[/rtl]

[rtl]Al-Salami said, "The House of Representatives urges the government to move towards e-governance in government departments and institutions," noting that "the most prominent features of this system are the significant reduction in corruption and theft of public money, in addition to the speed of completing transactions and the ease of reviewing government departments for citizens."[/rtl]

[rtl]Al-Salami added, "The implementation of the e-governance system requires a considerable amount of time to be fully relied upon in citizens' reviews of state departments and institutions, but the government must expedite the establishment of this important system that has become adopted in most countries of the world," noting that "Iraq needs the expertise of countries that have succeeded in this field and to apply it according to studied practical foundations."[/rtl]
