The Federal Board of Financial Supervision announced, on Tuesday, the issuance of reports on the audit and boycott of salaries of employees of the Kurdistan Region and the completion of the audit and boycott of oil and non-oil revenues in the region.
The head of the Federal Board of Supreme Audit, Ammar Subhi Al-Mashhadani, said in a televised statement, followed by "Al-Eqtisad News", that "the Board of Supreme Audit has completed the tasks assigned to it to audit and cross-check oil and non-oil revenues in the Kurdistan Region," stressing "sending the report to the Prime Minister's Office and the relevant authorities."
He added, "The Board of Supervision overcame the obstacles that stood in the way of auditing salaries after they were audited individually and cross-checked revenue and expenditure data and issued the results and notified the relevant authorities," noting that "the audit process aims to correct."
Al-Mashhadani continued, "Spending and revenue were audited and reports were issued regarding oil and non-oil revenues after the data was provided by the Board of Supreme Audit in the Kurdistan Region."
He added, "Some information in all state institutions did not reach the Board of Supreme Audit in a very accurate manner to reach accurate results on which the relevant authorities can rely."
