Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, condemned today, Wednesday, the treacherous operation committed by the Zionist enemy in assassinating the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, while stressing that resistance is the only guarantee to protect the nation in light of the lack of implementation of international laws.
Al-Mandalawi said in a statement received by Mawazine News: "We offer our deepest condolences and deepest sympathy to the Palestinian people, the leaders of the resistance, and all the free and honorable people of the nation, on the martyrdom of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh," stressing that "the journey of the great leader, which he spent between captivity and jihad for the sake of liberating Palestine, and for which he even sacrificed his family members, God willed that it be crowned with martyrdom, thus attaining a great dignity that was preceded by a number of resistance leaders whose pure blood was shed to pave the way for the pride and dignity of the nation."
The Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives pointed out that "the Zionist entity, by committing this foolishness of assassinating the martyr Haniyeh in Tehran, and its repeated targeting of the southern suburbs of Beirut and before that Yemen, will strengthen the unity of the resistance arenas."
He added that "the silence of international organizations on the daily genocidal massacres in Gaza encouraged the Zionist occupation forces to violate the sovereignty of a number of countries in the region, and that the language of resistance and force is the only guarantee to protect the nation in light of the silence of international organizations and the lack of implementation of international laws."
He continued, "The region will not enjoy security and peace except by eliminating the Zionist entity from the occupied land of Palestine."
