He noted, "The generation units and network consumption cause power outages in exchange for high spending on the ministry without an increase in energy production, which necessitates modernizing those networks, maintaining units and establishing thermal stations."
And he continued, “The Finance Committee discussed the file of service collection contracts and its percentage, and stressed the importance of cooperation to complete the completion of this network, as well as the need to respond quickly to the appeals and complaints of citizens in order to end the citizen’s suffering from the failure to connect electric power to residential areas.”
And the statement continued, “The committee asked about the contracts of the Ministry of Electricity concluded with some companies and the amounts allocated within the emergency support for food security and development law voted in the House of Representatives, the operational and investment funds disbursed by the ministry and the size of the expected growth and its plan regarding the service collection file, in addition to the issue of the ministry’s debts.” And the expected revenues, how to end the abuses of the electrical system, get rid of the import and purchase of energy, resort to the privatization system, the amount of fuel provided to the Ministry of Oil, and send it to the committee in an official letter.
