    Information / Baghdad..
Member of the Parliamentary Energy Committee, Nofoud Al-Moussawi, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the Iraqi Parliament Presidency continues to obstruct the request to question the Minister of Electricity.
Al-Moussawi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma Agency, "The Parliament Presidency is supposed to set a date to question the Minister of Electricity, Ziad Ali Fadel."
He added that "political consensus and quotas prevent the minister from being questioned in the House of Representatives."
He pointed out that "the political forces participating in the government are pushing to prevent any interrogation within the House of Representatives."
He pointed out that "25 MPs submitted a request to question the Minister of Electricity under Article 61 of the Constitution," indicating that "the questioning is still ongoing." End / 25 H
