The Ministry of Construction and Housing announced the categories included in benefiting from units in new residential cities.
Ministry spokesman Nabil Al-Saffar said, "20 segments of society were included, including those who had not previously benefited from obtaining plots of land and housing units."
He added that the covered segments are:
-Social Welfare / Ministry of Labor
-Displaced Persons/Ministry of Migration and Displaced Persons
- Wounded members of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Popular Mobilization Forces, and those affected by terrorist operations, according to the percentage of disability.
- Holders of higher degrees who are not employees
- People with special needs
- Distinguished athletes with achievements
- Relatives of employees who died during or as a result of work.
- Widows, divorcees, wives of missing persons, and unmarried women over the age of 35
- Employees and retirees (civilian/military)
