He said that “the resistance in Iraq has turned into a Shiite-Sunni one, and we have 1,000 Abu Mahdis and Soleimanis.”
A member of the Coordination Framework considered the recent “Coordination” speech as a new opportunity for Al-Sudani to complete the negotiations to withdraw American forces, while he expected the release of the detainees from the “Al-Jaghaifa Mobilization” in the “Ain Al-Assad” bombing case after “the resistance has turned into a Shiite-Sunni one,” as he described it.
The alliance of factions called the “Resistance Coordination” had suspended its targeting of American forces, unless the latter struck sites inside or attacked Iran.
Commenting on this, Ali Al-Fatlawi, a member of the Shiite coalition, said in a television program followed by “Al-Jabal” that “the resistance gave Al-Sudani’s government a second chance,” indicating that the factions “trust Al-Sudani and his ability to expel American forces from Iraq.”
Al-Fatlawi considered the “Coordination” statement to be “a new tactic of the resistance,” as it “put the rope around America’s neck when it committed itself to responding to the United States in the event of an attack on the Popular Mobilization Forces or Iraqi security sites or targeting Iran,” indicating that America, with this speech, “has become restricted because it will not be able to respond to Iran from Iraq.”
Regarding the issue of arresting members of the Haditha Mobilization Forces, from the Al-Jghaifa clan, following the bombing of the Ain al-Assad base, Al-Fatlawi confirmed that “the bombing was in response to the bombing of Jurf al-Sakhar, and not to the Haniyeh case, although the resistance is obligated to respond to the latter case,” noting that “if the detained youth were part of the Mobilization Forces, the Mobilization Forces and the resistance will demand their release and they will not be turned into scapegoats.”
He was a leader in the Anbar tribal mobilization. He spoke about attempts to pin the blame for bombing the Ain al-Assad camp, west of the city, on the al-Jghaifa tribe, which lives in the city of Haditha, adjacent to the base that includes American forces.
Al-Jabal had reported information from its sources that the security authorities in Anbar were forced to hold the tribe responsible for the bombing of “Ain al-Assad”, after it released members of one of the well-known factions accused of the attack, following a threat to the police.
Al-Fatlawi returned in the interview and said that “the resistance in Iraq has become Shiite-Sunni, Islamic and national,” noting that “the resistance is fertile and we now have 1,000 Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and 1,000 Qassem Soleimanis,” while describing (al-Muhandis and Soleimani) as “the two greatest leaders in Iraq and the Middle East.”
