US Ambassador Elena Romanovsky confirmed that she had discussed with Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi how to continue the progress made between Baghdad and Washington.
Romanovsky said in a tweet on Twitter, "I discussed with Parliament Speaker Muhammad al-Halbousi how to continue the progress made during Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein's visit to Washington."
She added, "The comprehensive US-Iraqi partnership seeks to expand and strengthen our cooperation in the economy, climate, and the energy sector, and to achieve the desired results for the Iraqi people."
