Former Parliament Speaker Iyad Al-Samarrai described the deportation of Shaalan Al-Karim during the last period by a party that advanced political maneuvering, indicating that the elections for the presidency of Parliament will be full of surprises.
Al-Samarrai said in a televised interview followed by Mawazine News: “The candidates for the Presidency of Parliament tried to communicate with all parties to gain support, and all of them do not have a clear political program.”
He added, "Shalan Al-Karim was absent from sight in the recent period, and keeping him out of sight was a maneuver of progress.
He continued, "The elections for the presidency of Parliament will be full of surprises. Reaching the second round will open the door to "deals" and agreements," explaining that "the occurrence of "Shalan Al-Karim." "These sounds were not expected."
