The Federal Public Service Council has addressed the Ministry of Finance to create the necessary job grades to employ 5,500 graduates in various specializations.
The official spokesman for the Council, Saad Al-Lami, told Al-Sabah: The Council addressed the Ministry of Finance to create degrees to appoint 5,500 applicants for employment from the top and holders of higher degrees covered by Laws 67 and 59 in various specializations.
He explained that the Council seeks to find job grades that are compatible with these specializations, especially since there is an urgent need to pay attention to many of them, as they may bring about a qualitative shift in the state’s administrative apparatus.
Al-Lami explained that the Council received, during the first and second phases of appointments, specializations that were not included in the needs of the ministries, and therefore the issue was presented to the Council of Ministers, which in turn instructed the Council, within the second phase of employment, to address the ministries in order to reconsider the specializations and send their needs back to the Council, revealing that the Council appointed 18,000 applicants in Baghdad and the governorates after analyzing their data, cross-referencing it, and sending it to the Ministry of Finance according to the mechanism followed in distributing specializations, while the same mechanism will be implemented when the necessary allocations arrive for the remaining ones.
