    The Civil Service Council announced today, Monday, the opening of the door to appointment for those covered by the Law on Employing Holders of Higher Degrees.
    The media office of the council stated in a statement: "With the follow-up and supervision of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani and in implementation of the recommendations of the minutes of the meeting on the appointments file approved by him, the Federal Civil Service Council announces the opening of the door to appointment for the staff of state departments and the public sector for the category covered by the provisions of the Law on Employing Holders of Higher Degrees No. (59) of 2017 who have obtained university orders or a certificate evaluation after 5/16/2023 until 6/14/2023 and have activated codes according to the data received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research within the timings approved by the ministry and there is no job restriction on them according to the data of the Federal Financial Supervision Bureau."
    He added, "Applying on the electronic form will be available starting from Monday morning for a period of (15) days."
    The statement explained that, "To ensure the right to appointment for individuals in the aforementioned category according to their specializations and academic certificates in a manner consistent with the available job grades and titles in accordance with the needs of the departments, the Council calls on everyone to be keen to apply during the aforementioned period via the electronic link below, while stressing the need to adhere to the announced controls in terms of the application mechanism and the method of attaching the required documents, and according to the Council's previously published directives and explanatory means in this regard."
    He continued, "The required documents to complete the application include:
    1- National card or civil status ID with Iraqi nationality certificate), with emphasis on attaching both sides (card or civil status ID).
    2- Residence card, with emphasis on attaching both sides (residence card).
    3- For married persons, an official marriage contract must be attached.
    4- For those who have children under the age of eighteen, the child's national card or civil status ID or a copy of an official birth certificate must be attached.
    5- For those who have courses related to their specialization, an official letter must be attached confirming their participation in a course organized by a government department or professional union, provided that the course was organized for participants in person.
    6- For those who have published research related to their specialization, a file must be attached containing the research interface including the researcher's name in Arabic and English according to what was used in the publication, the title of the published research and the interface of the journal in which it was published including the name of the journal and its number (ISBN).
    7- The applicant who works in the private sector (previous or current) must attach an endorsement from the employer supported by the Social Security Department.
    8 - The applicant who has previously worked or is currently working in the government public sector must provide proof of the period of work from the entity he works for.
    9 - Applicants to the private channels in the form (Martyrs Channel, Political Prisoners Channel, Victims of Terrorism, Military Operations and War Errors Channel, provide "endorsement from the institution or an ID proving this" People of Determination (Disability) Channel, provide proof of this with an official document).
    He noted that "attaching all documents must be in (pdf) file format."
