    [size=45]Maysan Governorate announced the start of preparing a comprehensive plan to implement projects, while indicating the completion of about 200 projects before the end of the year.[/size]
    [size=45]The Director of the Planning Department in the Diwan of Maysan Governorate, Ahmed Karim Jabr, said, “The governorate has begun preparing a plan for the projects after receiving allocations from the central government,” indicating that “the plan was prepared by a technical team in the governorate after distributing the population ratios and administrative units and according to the governorate’s vision and the spatial gaps prepared by the Ministry of Planning.”[/size]
    [size=45]He pointed out that “198 projects are expected to be completed by the end of this year, and so far 158 projects have been completed,” noting that “the completed projects were distributed among various sectors, including education, health, infrastructure projects, municipalities, roads, and others.”[/size]
    [size=45]Regarding the rehabilitation and development of the Al-Shaib border crossing, Jabr stated that “the projects implemented by the governorate for the benefit of the Al-Shaib border crossing directorate are as follows: the sewage network project, the potable water network project, the sidewalks project, and the crossing paving project, along with the rehabilitation and lighting of the electrical network, in addition to the implementation of health groups by the governorate according to the needs of the crossing.”[/size]
    [size=45]He added, “The governorate’s plan to rehabilitate and develop the port is being implemented in cooperation with the operating departments, including modern devices to detect explosives and all types of contraband,” stressing that “work is underway to prepare the designs, in addition to establishing three yards with an area of ​​250 square meters for each to eliminate the dirt yards at the beginning of the port, in addition to the project to rehabilitate the roofs of the current buildings in the port to be suitable and appropriate for the performance of the tasks of its employees. It is hoped that these projects will begin early next year.”[/size]
