    Announced Muthanna management, on Monday, agreed with the Ministry of Oil to address the Samawah refinery problems, develop and establish a new one , showing the determination of the local government to increase its refining capacity to 50 thousand barrels per day. 
    The governor of Muthanna Faleh Abdul Hassan sugar Ziadi, in his speech to ( long - Presse), " the Samawah refinery suffered many problems over the past years has led to the loss of many of its units productive , " adding that "efforts are continuing with the oil Ministry to address these obstacles and develop the refinery in the near future." 
    Ziadi He added that "the oil ministry agreed to add a new refinery to refinery in Samawa , 10 thousand barrels per day capacity , "noting that" the local government is trying in turn to add another unit at the refinery to get his card refining capacity to 50 thousand barrels a day. " 
    He revealed conservative about" the intention of the Ministry of oil for a new refinery to maintain " calling on the ministry to "follow up on those projects and accelerate its completion as this has a positive effect on theeconomic situation and service in the province."

    noteworthy that there are oil projects several Muthanna, its city of Samawa, (250 km south of Baghdad), stopped working, such as the tank spherical, unit asphalt refinery in Samawa, a warehouse of the Middle Euphrates and the gas plant.
