     Announced Investment Authority , Baghdad, on Friday, for a direct local company toestablish a residential complex tourist on thebanks of the Tigris River, north of the capital Baghdad, and as pointed out that the total cost of the project is $ 240 million, expected that this project will contribute to the strengthening of trade and tourism in the region . 
    the head of the Investment Commission of Baghdad , Shaker al - Zamili said in an interview to the (long -Presse), that " the housing crisis and rising rents and construction materials as well as a doubling of thenumber of residential complexes random in the capital, the Commission called for the possible solutions in order to help solve this crisis , " noting that " the Commission granted an investment license project (Tigris city of dreams) residential tourism on the banks of the Tigris River in Utaifiyya area, north of Baghdad, to thecompany the banks of the eastern rivers." 
    Zamili added that " the company embarked on the establishment of the project at a total cost of $ 240 million and an area of 54 dunums "he said , adding, that" the project is important as being located in an important area of vital religious and tourism and will contribute to the revitalization of the commercial and tourist traffic in the region because of what holds the project from multiple and modern facilities. " 
    Zamili said that" the project consists of 984 residential units , a three types of buildings all including 10 floors and the different areas of which 150 m2 and 200 m2 per apartment and there are apartments , "pointing out that" the project includes a five - star hotel with 11 floors and an area of 36 thousand m2. "
