    Information / Baghdad..
Member of the Parliamentary Services Committee, Mahdia Abdel Hassan, confirmed today, Thursday, the presence of disaster-stricken areas in Baghdad, stressing the necessity of “accelerating the adoption of the capital’s law to improve its situation.”
Abdel Hassan told Al-Maalouma, “The areas east of the canal are afflicted by poor services, even though the government has allocated funds to address their service crisis.”
She added, "There are areas in Baghdad that suffer from a perpetual problem with services, indicating that there is a parliamentary move to speed up the legislation of the Capital Law to regulate the work of the Baghdad Municipality and provide services to the people of the capital."
She continued, "Some areas inside Baghdad are not covered by services, neither by the secretariat nor by the governorate." Ended / 25 H
