    China confirmed, that the volume of trade with Iraq amounted to more than $ 20 billion, while Iraq called on Chinese companies to rehabilitate the infrastructure for various sectors in Iraq, most notably industry and electricity.
    He said Iraqi Trade Minister Salman Jumaili on the sidelines of his meeting with the Chinese ambassador in Baghdad Chen Wei Qing, he said that "relations with China, a solid and the volume of trade exchange between the two countries in the rapid development," calling "Chinese companies to rehabilitate the infrastructure for various sectors in Iraq, most notably industry and electricity."
    Jumaili said that "China's important role in the rehabilitation of the electricity sector to participate and build industrial cities in a modern way as well as study the possibility of buying on credit and the statement of opinion bodies, ministries and prepare a final version provided to the Chinese side."
    For his part, Chinese Ambassador Chen Wei Qing that "trade with Iraq volume exceeded 20 billion dollars," noting that "the volume of trade can be increased under Machhdh relations between the two countries of progress and development in all fields."
    He said, "China opened its doors to Iraqis students to study and obtain certificates of scientific, medical and engineering disciplines and competence of more than 200 per year and this Mivch the door to the development of Iraqi cadres in various fields."
    Iraq has signed with the People's Republic of China, in December 2015, during the visit of Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi to China last five agreements and memoranda of understanding on economic and technological, military, diplomatic, and oil and energy cooperation.
