    Confirmed the Tourism Authority, said Tuesday that Baghdad Island investment would be a "model" for other projects, while suggesting to enable them to increase the total investment for the project amount to four billion dinars annually, it attracted to it began to pursue other projects lagging and is invested.
    The head of the Tourism Authority of Mahmoud al-Zubaidi, said in an interview to the (long-Presse), "The Baghdad tourist island of investment will be a model for other projects in the country despite the duration amounting to 38 years," noting that "the project investment period determined under the previous management of the body Tourism, an award because there are contracts of up to more than 50 years and the important thing is the economic feasibility of the project. "
    He said al-Zubaidi, that "the contract for an investment of Baghdad tourist island, has been under a feasibility study by the planning department and supervised by the supervisory authorities concerned in the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and Antiquities," adding, "The project serves tourism in the country, as well as a citizen."
    He said al-Zubaidi, that "the value of the contract was 600 million dinars, but we consider it Gabbana, and we were able to double the amount to one billion and 750 million dinars," pointing out that "the investor had to have to pay 120 employees Tourism salaries, while we were able to increase the number to 250 employees. "
    He pointed to al-Zubaidi, that "the total investment for the project Baghdad tourist island today four billion dinars a year," asserting that "the Commission is following projects lagging and is invested and found a response by investors because of the transparency of its work and the supervision of the ministry it."
    The local company, has received in (the eighth of September 2016), Baghdad tourist island, as an opportunity investment value of 105 billion dinars for 38 years, and while unveiled its quest to establish a number of projects in the island's water and other games as a city, showed that the duration of set up will continue over Three years.
    The Iraqi tourism authority complained, in February of this year 2016, the existence of obstacles to take advantage of several sites in Baghdad and other provinces, while confirmed that notably relating to Bills of land ownership, likely enabling them to overcome during the year 2016, in preparation for the development or transfer of Investment .
