    BAGHDAD / tomorrow Press:

    It said a source familiar with the Central Bank of Iraq, said on Sunday that any amount borrowed from the Agricultural Cooperative and industrial bank has not been launched to date, revealing the launch before the end of this year.

    The source told "tomorrow Press," that "the Central Bank has provided five trillion dinars to sector banks (industrial, agricultural, real estate), and also the housing fund for the implementation of large and medium projects," adding that "any amount borrowed was not called by the agricultural and industrial bank" .

    He pointed out that "the Land Bank and the Housing Fund carried out a good number of projects through lending amounts to wanting to housing."

    And industrial and real estate banking source indicated that "there are projects presented to the banks but the banks managing the Supreme Committee for loans and represented by Iraq's central bank and other supervisory bodies considering these projects carefully and choose the ones that serves the development process."

    The source revealed that "the end of the current year will be the launch of a large number of loans for projects in the industrial and agricultural sectors across the industrial estate and banks."

    It is noteworthy that the Iraqi Central Bank announced, in the (23 June 2016), the launch of SME loans by the private Iraqi banks in early July present, while stressing that the amount of the loan up to 50 million dinars, an interest rate will not exceed 5.5%.
