Faili announce the graduation of the first Iraqi pilots of American F-16

Shafaq News / The Iraqi Embassy in the United States announced on Tuesday, graduating of the first Iraqi group of pilots of U.S. F-16.

“The Iraqi ambassador to the United States Luqman Abdul Rahim al-Faili attended the graduation ceremony of the first group of Iraqi pilots who have passed the training course on aircraft (F-16) successfully in the United States of America,” A statement issued by the embassy received by “Shafaq News”.

“The ceremony was attended by a number of senior profile officials from both the Iraqi and American sides,” statement said.

Faili had announced at the beginning of last month that the first group of Iraqi pilots who are trained to lead F-16 fighter jets will graduate at the end of the month, while stressing that Iraq will receive 36 aircrafts later this year

.
It is noteworthy that the Iraqi government is seeking to arm the Iraqi army will all its kinds as it has contracted with a number of global manufacturers on modern weapons, including the United States Army for the purpose of processing the upgraded armor , tanks and helicopter gunships, including the F16.
