    The head of the Confederation of Tunisian citizenship institutions "Connacht" Tariq al - Sharif, the areas of cooperation between Tunisia and Iraq , a large variety and the business climate in the two countries to develop appropriate trade and sent profitable partnerships between them in a large number of sectors. 
    He said Sharif during a meeting with an economic and an Iraqi delegation headed by Prime Basra Chamber of Commerce, said that "Tunisia attaches great importance to promote investment and international cooperation , especially after the issuance of the new investment law and the organization of the International Symposium for Investment" Tunisia 2020 ". On 
    the other hand, the Minister of Industry Tunisian Ziad virgins said " the visit of the Iraqi delegation has an important role in promoting economic relations were not at the level of the aspirations of the two countries , especially during the recent years due to the events that have defined the Arab region." 
    He added that the national unity government is working to boost economic relations between Tunisia and Iraq , recalling the important role played by the private sector and businessmen in this context and expressed his continued support for all initiatives that will improve these relations to the highest levels of service for the benefit of the two countries. 
    for his part , the Iraqi delegation pointed out that the relations between the two countries is a great alluding successfully Tunisian Iraqi economic days of the initiative were signed memorandums of understanding and definition business climate in all of Tunisia, Iraq and organize field visits to factories and bilateral meetings and calling on Tunisian enterprises to pay attention to the Iraqi market on the one hand and urged businessmen to invest in both directions on the other hand.
