The Authority for the Care of People with Disabilities and Special Needs has also included 3945 war wounded with the full-time salary equivalent to their civilian counterparts, The minimum salary of state employees is (170) thousand dinars after they were paid a certain salary by (75) thousand dinars. He added that the Authority was able to complete the examination (4650) disabled through a committee worked for a year at the headquarters of the Commission to reduce the routine and alleviate the burden of the disabled, and included the body (278) children of cancer patients salary appointed. He also said that the Commission was able to activate Article 18 of its law and benefited (217) disabled by giving them numbers for cars and their access to the exemption of customs,
(83) academic seats in the universities for the disabled and also the allocation of one seat for postgraduate studies, as did the Commission to reduce the amount of airline tickets on the Iraqi lines by 50% and according to the rules and regulations Special provisions of the Disabled Persons Welfare Act,
Manem added that "the Authority has started its own capabilities and help the sister departments in the ministry to build an electronic database in preparation for the issuance of smart card to the appointment and also to organize the distribution of salary as applicable in the Department of Retirement, and the rule will be a preliminary statistics of the number of disabled in Iraq. "In its cooperation with government partners, local civil society organizations and international organizations, the Authority is seeking to complete the granting of all privileges approved by Law No. 38 of 2013 for the disabled," Menem said.
