Baghdad Provincial Council formed a committee to conduct administrative and functional re - structuring within the local government of the capital, as well as re - evaluation of the projects carried out during the past four years.
Said Council member Abbas al - Hamdani, a special statement made by »Sabah»: The one of the first steps carried out by the Council after changing the former Baghdad governor, represented the formation of a committee of a number of members of the committees of the Council, for a restructuring of the Council and the preservation and review of all approved plans in the period the former, for the purpose of making a quantum leap in the performance of the Council.
He continued, the steps also include moving quickly to implement projects that have been referred previously to different companies, articulating the presence of more than 750 Mtlkia projects and dependent, indicating that the most important tasks of this committee is to address all Allkaat and failures that accompanied the previous performance of the province.
In the same context , said al - Hamdani, said that the committee will reconsider the integration of some committees and make changes to them in order to conduct an assessment of the work and then come up with new plans, pointing out in this regard that there are committees agree to work with other committees , therefore, it can be integrated into or cancel the other is not important as well as the distribution of staff between the committees according to their terms of reference.
He pointed out that these measures and studies will result from the preparation of a report in that regard and come up with recommendations submitted to the Presidency of the Council and the new governor to study and decide on them.
He noted al - Hamdani, that there exists in the province amounts estimated at five billion dinars , the Council decided to direct them according to the doors of allocated budget for the current year, to complete the projects by sector , and the need and priorities that ensure the provision of services and hygiene important projects.
He noted a member of the Baghdad Provincial Council, as in the case of urgent projects will be carried out transfers in the doors of the budget for the completion of the central and important projects that serve the people of Baghdad, especially as the government is facing a financial crisis that led to the failure of the Ministry of Finance , regardless sums of money to the province within the regional development budget relying on exchange payments , the last 20 billion dinars a year and a half ago.
