Twilight News / General Company for the fertilizer industry in the province of Basra began one of the Ministry of Industry companies and metals run the first line after the completion of rehabilitation of a production capacity of 1150 tons per day, to double the production capacity of the plant to become (2300) tons per day of urea fertilizer for the first two lines and the second.
The company's general manager Fawzi Abbas Ali, in a statement reported to Twilight News, that the company worked on the rehabilitation of the first and second lines over the past two years, and included rehabilitation maintenance and add new equipment cards up to 130% of the design capacity of the equipment, as well as the rehabilitation of cooling systems underground units and towers urea and work is underway on the rehabilitation unit of ammonia.
He noted that the company is in the process of completing the work of the rehabilitation of the first line after the installation and rehabilitation of all equipment and systems of cooling water, is scheduled to total energy up the first two lines and second (600 to 700) thousand tons per year during the last quarter of this year, covering the needs of the Iraqi market urea fertilizer.
He said the Director-General that he was a future plan to upgrade the fertilizers industry and study the number of bids submitted by international companies to invest and create a new line for the production of urea card mode (2000) tons per day and create a new line for the production of fertilizers (dab) which are imported from abroad capacity of up to 700 thousand tons per year to meet the country's need of nitrogen fertilizers.
