    [ltr]MP of the coalition of state law Mansour al-Baiji, on Thursday, a possible war of water may be exposed to Iraq from some countries, calling on the government to intervene quickly to prevent a disaster because of water scarcity.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"Iraq has achieved great victories against the gangs of terrorist groups and the failure of the Zionist project on it and on the whole region," Bayai said in a statement received by Mawazin News, adding that the Iraqis started a new page on Iraq through a water war.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The construction of Turkey dams and storage of water has greatly reduced the water rates to the country, leading to water shortages and the impact of our land in general," he said, adding that "Iraq is a real disaster because of the water war."[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The central and southern provinces have been affected by water shortages, which have increased the migration of farmers and the deterioration of agriculture in the country," he said, noting that "there was not much interest from the government on this matter."[/ltr]
    [ltr]Saying that the government will intervene quickly and pressure the countries of the source of water, Turkey and Syria in order to give a larger water quota to Iraq to suit his needs, and to prevent this war, "warning of the disaster next year because of water scarcity on the provinces of Iraq.[/ltr]
