    Prime Minister Haidar al-Abadi, on Friday, during a meeting with the President of the Supreme Islamic Council Hammam Hamoudi, the government's keenness to hold the elections on time as a constitutional entitlement.
    A copy of the statement of the Prime Minister's Office received "Trend Press" a copy of it, "Abadi received the President of the Supreme Islamic Council Hammam Hamoudi and the delegation accompanying him."
    The statement added that "the meeting blessed the victories achieved by our heroic forces on the gangs and called for the terrorist, and support and praise the steps of Prime Minister Haider Abadi, which has preserved the unity of the country."
     
    He pointed out that "the meeting also discussed the political and security situation and confirm the government's keenness to hold the elections on time as a constitutional entitlement."
