British Guardian newspaper published in its edition on Tuesday, an analysis of Julian Borger entitled "Trump accelerates the expansion process began in Obama 's rule , " pointing out that the US president eased restrictions and tightening that put them to reduce civilian casualties, as explained that Air attacks increased in Iraq and Syria by 50%.

Burger says the growing air attacks in Somalia are part of a general framework for the widespread use of air attacks that began under President Barack Obama and was expanded by current US President Donald Trump.

Burger says that in his first year in office, Trump announced that he had won the organization of the Islamic state, citing the easing of restrictions on his generals. "We have completely changed our army," he said in October.

Borger believes it is difficult to distinguish between the truth and the exaggeration in Trump's statement, because preferring to use air attacks and drones in remote areas such as Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan is not new, as used by the former US administration, but has eased restrictions and limitations on civilian casualties .

Burger quoted an air watchdog group as saying attacks by the US-led coalition on Syria and Iraq had increased by 50 percent in 2017 from a year earlier.

Coalition forces dropped 20,000 bombs on Raqqa. At the end of the five-month military campaign in Raqqa, the United Nations announced that 80 percent of the city had become uninhabitable and inhabited, and 1,800 civilians were believed to have been killed in Raqqa. Burger quoted the charity group as saying 1,400 of them had been killed in coalition air strikes.

"The increasing reliance on drones and the spread of the war against terrorism to a more remote border, while limiting restrictions and controls on fighting, threatens to create an international war that lacks transparency and leads to an increasing number of civilians," Burger concludes.
