    French President Emmanuel Macaron said that the US president's decision to consider Jerusalem as the capital of the Israeli occupation state was wrong and did not contribute to solving the existing problems.

    "Trump's decision did not include anything new about the situation in the region and did not make its security any better," McCron said in a speech at a dinner hosted by the representative council of Jewish institutions in France.

    He stressed "the need to solve the problems between the Palestinians and Israelis dialogue," explaining that "what his country is trying to do with America is to achieve peace in the region through Palestine and Israel."

    In the year 2017, US President Donald Trump declared Jerusalem, both east and west, as the capital of the Israeli occupation state, igniting anger in the Palestinian territories and condemning Arab, Islamic and international.

    "We are working with Netanyahu on the developments in the Middle East and the threat of Iranian military influence in Syria, Iraq and Lebanon," McCron said.

    "France's position is clear. We demand that we address the Tehran ballistic program and Iran's regional control. We are working for this with our allies: Britain, Germany and the United States."

    "Achieving security (Israel) and confronting any offensive policy against it are among the highest priority issues for France," McCronon said. "There are a number of issues that Netanyahu does not agree with."

    French President Emmanuel Macaron said that his US counterpart Donald Trump's decision to consider Jerusalem as the capital of Israel was a real mistake because it did not contribute to solving the problems between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
