    Information / Baghdad ..
Al-Watan newspaper reported on Saturday that the United States used the border crossing for the supply of arms and equipment to the armed groups, and that this impedes a solution to the crisis of the border crossings.
"The Iraqi government is determined to deal with the differences with the Kurds in one basket, while the Kurdish leadership wants to settle some files and to transfer other files until after the elections," the newspaper quoted a source close to Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi as saying. Parliamentary session scheduled for next May, or postponed to a later stage without specifying a timetable, but Abadi opposed that.
The source pointed out that "the truth about the secrets that stand in the way of resolving the differences between Abadi and the Kurds is centered around two main issues. The first concerns the border crossings, especially the Fishkhabur crossing, towards the Iraqi border with Turkey and Syria, which is used by US forces as a logistic corridor to support its forces and Syrian Democratic forces with weapons and equipment."
According to the Iraqi official, "This corridor is used for the transfer of volunteers from the Kurdish Peshmerga forces of Massoud Barazani to fight alongside the Kurds of Syria, and therefore there is an American reservation on the delivery of this vital crossing to Iraqi forces, including the forces of popular mobilization.
The Committee on Security and Defense parliamentary confirmed on Saturday, seeking to oblige the government to set a date for the withdrawal of foreign troops from Iraq, noting that it is waiting for the government's response to the inquiry by the House of Representatives on the possibility of determining the date of withdrawal of foreign troops from the country. Ending / 25
