The Iranian currency "Tuman" witnessed a historic collapse on Monday, after the exchange rate against the dollar reached 6,300, the lowest level of the country's oil-rich throughout the ages.
Bankers have said the currency has lost only about 30 percent of its value in the last six months because of internal banking and foreign policy policies of Tehran, which spends dollars generously on wars, conflicts and separatist operations in Yemen, Syria, Iraq and elsewhere.
It is noteworthy that the Iranian currency lost 6% of its value during Sunday, and collapsed to its lowest levels ever against the dollar.
