Masoum discusses with Salman the development of relations between Baghdad and Riyadh

In late Sunday evening, Masoum returned to Baghdad after attending the Arab summit in Saudi Arabia. "President Fuad Masum met last Sunday with King Salman and discussed with him issues of mutual interest and ways of developing relations between the two brotherly countries," a statement issued by the president said. "The meeting, which took place on the sidelines of the 29th Arab summit in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, underscored the need to strengthen bilateral cooperation for peace and joint action for the development of the countries of the region," the statement added.
