Iranian President Hassan Rowhani threatened his US counterpart Trump with "serious consequences" if he withdraws from the nuclear deal signed in 2015 between Tehran and a number of European countries and America.
"I tell those in the White House that if they do not meet their commitments, the Iranian government will respond firmly," Rohani said, adding that anyone who steals the deal should know that it will face dire consequences.
US President Trump said earlier that he would withdraw from the Iranian nuclear deal if France, Germany and Britain did not agree to radical changes in the agreement imposing new sanctions on Iran, describing the agreement as "very bad," while Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Jawad Zarif said that " His country would return to enrich uranium if Washington withdrew from the deal.
