Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari arrived Wednesday in the Belgian capital Brussels to represent Iraq at a conference to support Syria's future.
"Foreign Minister Ibrahim al-Jaafari arrived in the Belgian capital of Brussels to represent Iraq at a conference to support the future of Syria and the region under the auspices of the European Union and the United Nations," a statement by Jaafari's office said.
"It is hoped that Jaafari will hold several meetings with the foreign ministers on the sidelines of the conference in the framework of strengthening bilateral relations and deliberating on the most important issues of common concern," the statement said. Ending / 25 g
