The two political offices of the Democratic Party and the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan meet in Erbil today to choose the Kurdish delegation that will hold talks in Baghdad with the winning forces in the elections.
The spokesman of the political body of the National Union Saadi Ahmed Bira said in a press statement: "The two parties will discuss in the meeting, in detail, the preparation of the Kurdish demands and the development of joint programs on the basis of which the Kurdish delegation will discuss in Baghdad."
The leader of the Patriotic Union: "The writing of the Kurdish demands paper will be in the next three days, where the Kurdish delegation will be ready to go to Baghdad to start his rounds of negotiations after writing the demands."
As for the content of the Kurdish demands paper, which will be negotiated on the basis of the Kurdish delegation, he explained: "The most important points that will be included in the paper is the setting of time limits for the formation of the Federal Union Council and focus on the principle of consensus and the sharing of power fairly," noting: "There are preliminary understandings between the forces Kurdish and Shiite to write the government program by the components of the largest parliamentary bloc, and these understandings agreed between seven to eight blocks winning in the elections. "
