The current projections show three possible challenges. The first is the interest rate hike in the United States, which marks the end of the quantitative easing process pursued by the Federal Reserve Bank after the global financial crisis a decade ago, especially after recent positive developments in the US economy. Most notably the increase in employment and the drop in unemployment to record levels of less than 4 percent. Thus, raising the interest rate in the United States is a financial risk for countries that rely on the peg to the US dollar as there is expected to be an outflow Of capital to invest in the United States, raising the problematic liquidity shortage of those countries, including Turkey, for example. The second challenge is the trade conflict between the world's two largest economies, the United States and China, where the threats they are now implementing could affect global economic growth and its impact on global economies and the ability to weather the downturn. The world still suffers from it. Studies show that if full trade relations between the two countries are cut, this will affect the gross domestic product of the two countries by 3 percent on the Chinese economy and 1 percent on the US economy.
