The Iraqi authorities on Friday blocked a Russian military transport plane from entering Iraqi airspace.
According to the source, "the Iraqi authorities did not allow the Russian military transport plane" Tu-154A ", enter into its airspace.
The site confirmed that the plane was heading to the Syrian province of Latakia, where the air base of the Russian air force, but was forced to return to Iranian airspace, and did not explain the Iraqi authorities the reason for the ban.
The Tu-154M aircraft tried again to enter Iraqi airspace, and the source did not disclose whether it had entered the field on the second attempt.
