(Baghdad: Al Furat News) The Islamic Dawa Party issued a statement on the results of the party leadership meeting on Saturday in the presence of Prime Minister Haider Abadi.
A statement of the party received the agency {Euphrates News} a copy of it that the meeting was "based on the importance of political circumstances in Iraq, and the need to maintain the current constitutional entitlements, including the largest parliamentary bloc to nominate the Prime Minister in accordance with the Constitution to form a government that meets the requirements of service citizens And fight corruption and promote the economy of Iraq, in addition to maintaining the unity and security, sovereignty and stability away from the security and political tensions facing the region.
He added that "the leadership and the Shura Council of the Islamic Dawa Party held a joint meeting on Saturday morning discussed the circumstances and circumstances surrounding Iraq and the political process and the role of the party in these developments, and gathered attendees on the importance of overcoming differences of opinion within the ranks of the party to strengthen the unity of political position."
"The importance of activating the national role of the party and unify the vision, program and effort of the two parliamentary blocs and the coalition of state of law and the need to seek to unify the two lists as a step on the way to collect parliamentary blocs with common goals and programs."
The participants stopped "when obstacles that prevented the achievement of those goals at the level of parliamentary blocs or at the national level and examined ways to overcome those obstacles and put appropriate mechanisms for that," according to the statement.
The attendees unanimously agreed on the importance of opening cooperation horizons with other political blocs in order to speed up the formation of the government formation, which is in line with the recommendations of the Supreme Council of the Supreme Council of the Iraqi People.
The attendees decided to convene the General Conference of the Islamic Dawa Party as soon as possible
