The International Migration Management Team has [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] the Iraqi Government to participate in the International Conference on the Global Charter for [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to be held in Marrakesh for the period 11-12 December under the auspices of the United Nations General Assembly.
"It is important that the Immigration Department be a unified and cohesive administration that is concerned with work, education, social assistance and security," said the Director-General of the Immigration Management Group, Placido Silbekni, during a meeting with Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mehdi Al-Alak.
He also pointed out the importance of planning the process to be sustainable with the provision of financial allocation in the medium and long term, calling on the Iraqi government to cooperate and coordination in this regard through coordination with the European Union.
The meeting discussed the future plans for the post-conference through the formation of a working group for decision makers, adopts the migration file program and coordinates and follow up with the International Organization for Migration to develop the laws and strategies of migration management in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and develop a comprehensive roadmap of its own.
