[Baghdad: Al-Furat News} The North Oil Company denied what was circulated through the media, and statements and allegations by some members of the House of Representatives on the smuggling of oil from the fields of Nineveh province.
The company stressed in a statement received by the agency {Euphrates News} copies of today, on the "need to extract information from its official sources and not to promote that information, which carries the character of a patch and political conflict intended to confuse public opinion for purposes not in the public interest of the country.
The company explained that "Nineveh oil fields and all its subsidiaries are managed by the North Oil Company according to administrative and technical standards and follow-up diligently from the control and audit and are protected by the Iraqi Energy Police and the Iraqi Army."
"The production of the oil field in the province of Nineveh is (30000) barrels per day, is processed 5000 barrels of it every day to the refinery Qayyarah, and the remaining amount is exported through the ports of Basra within the contract concluded by the Iraqi oil marketing company" Sumo "with Shuaa Energy Company, while the fields of "Ain Zalah and Batmeh," the production rates are (3500) barrels per day and processed for the casserole.
He added that "while the field Safia is still under the control of the Kurdistan region since the events of the terrorist and does not have any accurate information about the current production," realizing that "the field star has been signed service contract with the company Sonankol Angolan to develop it and there are positive indicators of progress in the work" .
"While the North Oil Company confirms its full faith in the patriotism and integrity of its oil cadres in preserving every drop of oil extracted from its oil fields, Standard and with great efforts. "
The statement concluded: "The North Oil Company calls on all concerned parties to be careful in spreading the news and not circulating unfounded statements that try to distort the facts and appeals to the management of the company all politicians and those concerned with the dimensions of the oil sector from conflicts and political campaigns, and recourse to the regulators and the judiciary. The existence of observations or issues worthy of investigation, rather than the charges against this party and the owner. "
