    Information / Baghdad ..
The head of the Supreme Judicial Council, Supreme Judge Zaidan, revealed Tuesday that the judiciary is still working on legal texts that began in 1969, while noting that there are laws that have been enacted but the drafting errors prevent their application.
"We are still working with the legal texts that started in 1969," Zeidan said in a dialogue session during the Rafidain meeting and his follow-up. "There are laws that were legislated by the House of Representatives, but there are drafting mistakes that prevent their implementation."
He added that "the judiciary responded to terrorism with all courage, we have provided 67 martyrs of judges at a time when there were no more than 500 judges," noting that "corruption and terrorism are two sides of one coin and corruption is not less than a threat to terrorism." Ending / 25
