BAGHDAD / Ninewa MP Shirwan Dobrani warned Saturday of outbreaks of skin diseases such as scabies in Ayman Mosul, and blamed the Ministry of Health for this.
"The scarcity of medicines and treatments and the lack of vaccines in Mosul have led to the spread of certain epidemic diseases such as diabetes and others. We hold the Ministry of Health responsible for this, and we hold the federal government as a whole, not to remove the rubble and bodies that have fallen under it until today, City".
"The need to form emergency medical teams to treat citizens of Ayman Mosul, especially as many of them do not even have the price of treatment."
He criticized the performance of the Ninewa local government, which he described as "unable to improve services and provide the basic elements of life for citizens, and engaged in political conflicts, without taking into account the status of Nineveh and its people in the light of administrative and financial corruption and multiple sources of decision and the presence of more than a security force on its land.
He called on the MP, the Nineveh Provincial Council to "carry out its duties and assume its national and moral responsibilities towards the people of Nineveh, to reduce what is happening on the ground of neglect and shortening, lost the citizen Mawsli confidence in tomorrow better and more beautiful."
"The center's government does not care and watch silently while everyone is talking about the corruption and multiple sources of decision, statements and calls calling for an end to what is happening in Nineveh, and not to care about this province, which is devastated by the destruction, destruction and killing of its children."
"Mosul hospitals lack the simplest things, such as cannula or syringe. Where does Nineveh's share of medicines and treatments come from, and the citizen has to buy medicines and treatments from outside the health facilities, although many people can not be treated in private hospitals?"
He added: "Unfortunately today there are those who leave the area of Mosul right towards the left coast, fearing the incidence of diseases that spread in their areas, and this requires a government effort, including the health services to reduce and eliminate these diseases."
