Deputy: Abdul-Mahdi not to accompany the governor of Halabja to visit China is a matter of surprise and question

MP Hoshyar Abdullah on Tuesday criticized the prime minister's failure to take the governor of Halabja as part of the visiting delegation to China.
Abdullah said in a statement, "The Prime Minister accompanied in his trip to the People's Republic of China a government delegation included the governors of all Iraqi provinces, including the provinces of the Kurdistan region, except the governor of Halabja," noting that "this is a matter of surprise and question."
`` This sacrificed province, which was and still is a symbol and a global symbol of redemption, deserves priority attention and publicity about its cause and grievance in international forums, but we were surprised to learn that the governor of Halabja was not part of the government delegation going to China, and this is sad to us, '' Abdullah said.
Abdullah expressed his hope that "what happened was a technical flaw, not a deliberate exclusion," calling on the prime minister to "correct this mistake in the future and deal with this young province in a manner that befits the sacrifices of its children and its status as an Iraqi province deserves attention and appreciation."
