Basra Council reviews the mechanisms of the smart transformation system that the Ministry of Electricity intends to implement soon

[rtl]Basra / NINA / Basra Provincial Council member Hassan Shaddad Al-Faris announced the Ministry of Electricity's intention to convert its services to the "smart transformation" system, noting that "this system is very different from the privatization system."
Al-Faris said in a statement that "the Minister of Electricity, during his recent visit to the Basra Provincial Council, explained the mechanisms of the smart transformation system for electricity, which stipulates that all services remain exclusively in the hands of the Ministry of Electricity." He pointed out
that "the ministry will replace the meters free of charge in the areas included in the smart transformation system," noting that "collection prices will remain as they are and the meters will be read electronically.
" Al-Faris continued, "The companies specialized in implementing this project will be limited to maintaining power lines, resolving bottlenecks, installing transformers, etc." He
