    Today, Monday (November 4, 2024), Ali Al-Mashkoor, a representative of the Coordination Framework, commented on the expected ministerial reshuffle announced by Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani, describing it as “vague.”
    Al-Mashkoor told Baghdad Today, "We expect the ministerial reshuffle to include four ministers," indicating that "this reshuffle is still vague and the information is exclusively in the hands of the Prime Minister."
    He added, "The House of Representatives does not currently know the ministries proposed for amendment. We hear this or that minister, but the truth of the matter is that we do not know which ministries Al-Sudani believes it is necessary to change their ministers to revitalize their reality."
    Mashkoor continued, "The Prime Minister pledged to make the amendment after the election of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, and this is what happened. Accordingly, he must proceed with the pledge according to the options that he believes are appropriate for the purpose of assuming responsibility for the ministerial amendment by him," expecting that "the amendment will not happen within days because it needs time to be carried out."
    It is noteworthy that Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani revealed on Tuesday (October 29, 2024) an expected ministerial reshuffle .
    Al-Sudani said during today's cabinet session on the occasion of the second anniversary of the formation of the government: "We will make a ministerial amendment according to performance and work indicators, and based on our government program ."
    Al-Sudani stressed that "it is not a political or personal decision ."
    He pointed out that "the amendment is a desire to achieve more effective performance to meet the requirements of the stage and the aspirations of citizens."
